Pole Pig

Does anyone know the likely original application of this pole pig?  Weight is about 75 pounds, windings are 120, 120, 2400, 2400, so it would be used for 2400 or 4800V to 240 three wire service.  The 240 side is about 10 ga wire, so maybe 7.5 KW??  The shape seems odd to have been made for an oil filled tank....looks more like it was meant to be air cooled, but who knows?

It will make a heck of a plate supply!
