Fantastic site, seems the comms are being faithfully recreated 
(static and other interferences included). Otherwise one would need 
to be 40 light years away from earth in order to be able to listen 
live into these. Thanks for the link.

Here's a link to another piece of history related to the Apollo 11 
mission, specifically the Parks Radio Telescope in Australia, that 
was used to receive the TV signals from the moon walk, among other 
things. Interesting reading while listening to the mission comms.
