Unknown (small) 'anchor'

Just got back from HamCom in Plano,TX. Saw this radio in the outdoor flea market in the open back of a P/U truck. Talked with the seller a bit (he was asking $25 but $20 or even $15 was more in line) then moved on. Went back a few hours later to bargain and he'd disappeared and didn't come back the second day.

This was a small comm rcvr that looks very much like (if not exactly) like the Lafayette HA-63 except was branded as "SGC" or "SDC" or similar - can't recall exactly. Any info would be appreciated.
