Coax Brands - redux

If it were me, I would bury some PVC pipe and then run the coax through the pipe. 1.5 inch PVC pipe is very cheap (like $2 or so for a 10 foot length and the couplings are around $1 each) and using it would give considerably more protection to the cable.

I've found some genuine Belden RG-213U that I think I'll go with. I notice that the supplier says it's good for direct bury. I'm assuming that relates to the outer jacket. Has anyone done that (direct bury) with 213 and if so, how did that work out?   I'm about to put up a ground mounted vertical and direct bury would save me some time and $$$.
