Or couldn't read.  Given Hawaii's [lack of] educational system, this
is an alternate possibility.

Hmmm ... Hadn't thought about that, just the theft for street value side.

Only if you include iPods and cell phones.  But then, everyone around
here has a cell surgically implanted so hollow state wouldn't quite
fit the image.  Some carry multiples because they want the latest
version but don't want to give up their old favorite either.  A local
lady got in on one of the "buy one, get one" programs (AT&T?) ... kept
both phones.
