The Receive/Standby switch on the front panel is tied to pin 6 of the octal 
socket on the back of the receiver. In receive position the switch shunts a 
15K resistor to ground which is in series with a 330 ohm 1 watt resistor 
that is tied to the cathode of the 6AQ5 audio output tube. In standby the 
15K resistor is in the circuit which turns off the audio output tube. Pin 6 
of the octal socket will perform the same function remotely if the 
Receive/Standby switch is kept in the Standby position.
