Help needed Simpson 314

Greetings to the list, Simpson 314 solid-state VOM no longer zeros properly
(the adjustment pots are at the end of their travel and the needle still is
not at 0) on the AC and ohms ranges.  I have just installed new batteries
and this didn't help.  Can anyone offer a suggestion on this, or a link to a
manual?
