[Boatanchors] Testing 845 Tubes

Thanks to all for the ideas and offers to test these tubes. I'm
reluctant to send them through the mail anymore than once to the new
owner. Just can't see USPS wanting to pay out a claim for hundreds of
dollars for a broken tube, I'm sure they'd find a way out of it.

Forgot the 211 connection, I get lost between the 211/VT-4/845 types
and interchangeability. Should be someone around here with a BC-375 or
191 on the air.

That's pretty much the case so far for the few I've checked, Carl.
Glass looks clean and clear, filament continuity on pins 2 & 4, no
continuity with other pins. But I'm fine with assuming they might have
been used lightly or, at least, run for testing purposes at some point
so as to make them less-than-new. Even clean, used US examples bring
2-3 times more than the new Chinese knock offs it seems. I don't
expect to retire from the proceeds, they just need to find a new home.
It's like having boxes laying around with money in them that you could
be using for other stuff.

You can bet you'll be covered at the AM Dinner. Wouldn't have it any
other way. You're our invited guest, after all!
