FA on that place:
FT243 crystal on 8400 KC for use in the 6m band on the AM calling frequency at 504 MHz.
NEW UNUSED EXCELLENT CONDITION. Here is an original old WW2 era FT243 crystal
on a useful 6 meter band frequency of 8400 kHz. This is a rare and much sought-after
crystal. It has the standard 1/2 inch pin spacing used with most amateur radio equipment
manufactured throughout the period from 1945 - 1968 and works especially well in any
GONSET, CLEGG, LI'L LULU, EF JOHNSON, HALLICRAFTERS, HEATHKIT, KNIGHT and
similar transmitters.
This is the frequency everyone uses all over the USA for Six Meter AM operation, and in
almost all commercial and homebrew transmitters they use a multiplying factor of X6 which
will put this crystal right on 50.400 MHz.
Ideal for making sure you are in the right frequency when operating 6m AM. This crystal has
been fully tested and is in excellent operating condition.
QUESTION - Are you selling two of these? How come the pictures look the same as your
other auction? YES, I am selling two identical crystals and these are the last I have like this.
Please see my other auction if you would like both.
