[Boatanchors] 6m transverter?

Forget about trying to modify the radio!  For a "boat anchor" solution, the Hallicrafters HA-6 works fine with transceivers in the power range of the HTX-100.  I have used both my HA-6 and the 2-meter version, the HA-2, with a Uniden HR-2510.

Hello everyone, I have been thinking about using a RS HTX-100 on 6 meters,
so a suitable transverter would be required.  Does anyone have any
suggestions for this?  Or is it possible to modify the HTX-100 for 6-meter
operation outright? Any opinions gratefully received.
