The WRL Meteor - push-push for DSB and push-pull for AM & CW. Can't
remember what the tubes are but it's a relative lightweight.

Subject: [Boatanchors] Mobile/Small HF transmitter with Dual-tube finals?
I'm looking for a transmitter with dual-tube finals.
Can y'all recommend a manufacturer & model to look for?
I don't think Morrow or Pierson or Elmac made one with
dual finals.
It needs to be compact, not a big ole hernia-maker as
I don't have a lot of spare op desk space.
QRP is fine. At least 80, 40, 20m.
AM w/modulator w/push-pull output transformer would make
the intended mod easier - scroll down for BC-696 mod
http://kd4e.com/pp.html
CW is OK - just must have push-pull output amenable to
the same sort of mod. as shown in the BC-696.
Homebrew would be OK.
WDYT?
