[Boatanchors] Any difference Elmac PMR6 vs PMR6a?

For some reason I'm thinking there may never have been
a plain vanilla PMR6 but only a PMR6a ... can someone
clarify, please?

If there is a difference does anyone have documentation
as to what the difference(s) are?
