  They often called ceramic filters mechanical filters in their advertisements.
Not a true mechanical filter.

Like Glen, I had the AX-190 and while it was a "pretty fair" copy of
the Collins mixing scheme, it was a consumer-entry-level introduction
to ham radio.

I liked the looks, but sold it.  I probably would have kept the SX version.

Shame they didn't follow up with a QRP transmitter of similar weight.
