[Boatanchors] Any Builders out There?

Hey Wilson,

It aint't over till they start shoveling dirt in your face.

Age is just a number. I plan to keep building transmitters and stuff until
I figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Now that I'm retired I don't
seem to have much time for building or operating. I just bought a bunch of
boat anchor military gear from WW-II. By a bunch I mean the first load was
4 tons; and there are probably 3 more loads yet to haul. This sort of
enterprize keeps me thinking young. My XYL is helping me with all this gear
and will know what to do with it when I finally grow up.

By the way, my AM rig is a single 813 modulated by a pair of 572B's.
Collins PTO into a highly modified TMC SBE-2, driving an 807, which drives
the 813. It works so well that I haven't tackled another transmitter yet.
I spend a lot of time restoring what I'm using. Now I'll higrade a few
pieces of my treasure trove, get them on the air, and sell the rest.

73,
George
