Speaking as a pinhead who works for the agency that owns those ships...  
I suspect that the photos are quite old and those ships are long gone. 
The ships are sold for scrap and most are moved to the Brownsville Texas
area for recycling.  By law, we may not sell them overseas.  Many of the
ships are stripped of items that are of historic interest, but I don't think
they have kept any radio equipment I know of.  Sometimes small articles are
sold through GSA auction.  If you really want to know more about the ships
