[cisco-bba] annoying %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN message

After upgrading a 7140 from 12.2(6)i to 12.2(13)T5 i'm getting the following message, 
although i have "no logging event link-status" under the specicic vtemplate.

Jul 15 19:22:06: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface Virtual-Access54, changed
state to down

Could it be a bug?
