[cisco-nas] Cisco router acting as a PPTP Client with MPPE

Richard,
No, you can't. The reason is that PPTP operates in two modes - voluntary
tunnel mode or compulsory tunnel mode. Cisco supports voluntary tunnel mode
which allows tunnelling directly from a remote access client to a PPTP
gateway. In this model, Cisco routers act as the PPTP gateway (headend). In
compulsory tunnel mode (which Cisco doesn't support), a PPTP tunnel is built
between a PPTP Access Concentrator (PAC, which is a dial access
concentrator/NAS) and a PPTP Network Server (PNS - the gateway). Remote
access clients dial into the PAC and their PPP connections are tunnelled
over PPTP to the PNS.
However, you may like to take a look at client-initiated (voluntary) tunnel
mode on Cisco routers for L2TP - search CCO for 'client-initiated' + 'L2TP'.
Hope that helps,
Mark
