Try "type fxs-loop-start".

Basically, you want to do the "debug serial interface" / "show 
controller t1" thing (which I think may have been replaced by something 
like "show controller t1 cas-data" which will show the RBS signal states 
for the A/B (or A/B/C/D) bits.  Looking at the bit states that are 
coming from the switch should give you some hint as tohow they have it 
configured.
