I heard the top end would be 7000 routes, but that was a while ago. I would
think it would depend on your cpu, ram, and stuff like that. If I'm wrong
someone smarter will correct me.

Subject: [nsp] OSPF routes

Hello,

On the last Networkers one of Cisco-man said that ospf can work with
3000-5000 routes. Is it truth?
Now i have about 2000 routes ......and have no problem. :) But all my ospf
routes are external (E2).
Is my situation dangerous, or i can forget about it! :)
How many routes can be in OSPF database?
