A 7507 (RSP8) I have is dropping (outbound) packets occassionally on a FIFO-queued GigE interface. I'm assuming this is due to instananeous bursts that are sucking up queue buffer space. Would WFQ be a better way to manage this interface? How will WFQ perform at this interface speed (and how will it impact the CPU)? Pete.
