HSRP can support up to 255 groups, even in a Vlan configuration (so you
can't re-use the same group-id in another vlan, a restriction which
might be gone in newer releases, haven't checked in a long time).
Please note: VIP2's (don't know about VIP4/6) have a limited Ethernet
address filter of 32 entries. So you want to use "use-bia" in an HSRP
Vlan configuration on a c7500 because otherwise each HSRP's group
mac-address will allocate on entry in the address filter and you won't
be able to enable more than 32 HSRP groups..
