I found it!
CSCeb51698 - Const2: faulty fan causes SUP to crash
Just thought I'd mention it as at least one other person mentioned they had
something quite similar.. i believe this is my problem anyway, the curious thing
is the stack trace doesnt point at anything useful as far as i could see
