[nsp] ATM per VC stats via SNMP

Hi,

I'm looking to grab some stats on a per-VC basis. I need to basically
build two tools, a grapher and a small perl or shell script that will
"sample" a vc for X number of minutes and report back on the bytes
transferred and also generate an average rate.

This is for troubleshooting DSL connections coming in on a PA-A3-T3. I
want to supply the support people with a way to look at short-term usage
on a pvc as well as longer term usage by temporarily graphing it.

So does anyone have pointers for byte counters on a per-vc basis? How are
they indexed (I'm hoping by VCD)?

And if you're curious, what I'm seeing is people calling up complaining
about speed. When we watch the counters using "sh atm pvc 0/X", we find
they have their upload pegged. We then tell them to turn off Kazaa and
try again. But manually running a the show command, noting the time,
remembering to come back and run it again, noting the time again, and then
doing the math to get a KB/s number is growing tiresome.

Any help, guesses, pointers appreciated.

Thanks,

Charles
