I didn't think the puny IOS in ROM on 7200s supported flash/CF disks.
Not even all the various bootflash images do.

BTW...are there really big problems in 12.3(1)a on the 7200?  I have some
7200's running 12.1T Enterprise that I need BBA features on (PPPoE for
instance) and since there's no fixed 12.1T image available yet, I was
going to load 12.3(1)a as soon as I had some cards deployed big enough to
hold it.  I don't want to load ios friday afternoon if it's going to
lockup friday night.

Is there a fixed successor to c7200-js-mz.121-5.T12.bin that I can get 
from somewhere yet??
