i too use rancid - works very well. if want notification of when someone
changes something, then you could just set swatch/logsurfer/sec/etc on
your syslog, and look for the line
SYS=5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by $user on vtyN ($ip_addy)
then have it mail you
no need drop the 10k+ on ciscoworks or similar package - unless you have
money to burn, in which case, you could donate it to my ccie lab fund ;)
