You're presuming that it was introduced in 12.2 mainline prior to 12.3
development being started and that 12.3 is a child of 12.2.  Without
checking I can't say for sure, but it could have been introduced in 12.2T,
backported to 12.2 mainline and depending on the timing of the pull of the
12.3 dev branch from 12.2T, not appear in 12.3 mainline.
