[nsp] Viking flash in RSP4?

Hi All,
Has anyone successfully used the Viking flash memory:

  VIKING 48MB DUAL VOLTAGE FLASH MODULE FOR CISCO
  Manufacturer Part Number        CS75RSP4/48FC

in their RSP4?  When I try to format it, I get the following
non-helpful error message :) :

> Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm]
> Format operation will destroy all data in "slot1:".  Continue? [confirm]
> Enter volume ID (up to 64 chars)[default slot1]:
> %Error formatting slot1 (Unspecified error)
