Hi Jeff.

These are ATA cards, so you have to call them "DiskX:" instead of
"SlotX:". I know these work in the 72xx/75xxs, please let me know if
they work in the RSP4s. This command should do what you want. "format
disk1:"

Hope that helps.

If anyone would like some of these, I have 5 48 MB sandisk cards
(formatted and tested in a 7204) that I'm getting ready to ebay. If you
need many, I can get a whole lot more within 2-3 days.

Subject: [nsp] Viking flash in RSP4?

Hi All,
Has anyone successfully used the Viking flash memory:

http://www.insight.com/web/apps/productpresentation/index.php?product_id
=vik75448

VIKING 48MB DUAL VOLTAGE FLASH MODULE FOR CISCO
  Manufacturer Part Number CS75RSP4/48FC

in their RSP4? When I try to format it, I get the following
non-helpful error message :) :

> Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm]
> Format operation will destroy all data in "slot1:". Continue?
[confirm]
> Enter volume ID (up to 64 chars)[default slot1]:
> %Error formatting slot1 (Unspecified error)

Cheers,

Jeff C.
