No, we're running several without problems, manufacture dates in December
through February.
12.2.14S2 on all ours.

Subject: [nsp] NPE-G1 frustration

I upgraded one of my 7206VXRs from an NPE-300 to an NPE-G1 back in June
and since that time I've had to replace hardware going on three times.
The first time Cisco sent me a replacement G1 and the second time we
forklifted in a new router, G1, interface cards and all... This time
around I'm pushing for all brand-spanking-new hardware, straight off the
assembly line, as opposed to something that's been sitting in a parts
depot for 6 months... I'm pretty much at my wit's end with this thing.

The router has been resetting due to power-on, however further digging has
shown that the reset was due to a watchdog timeout each time. They
references DDTS bug CSCea25622, which is supposed to be resolved.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with the NPE-G1 at this point?
Was there a rash of bad G1s that made it through quality control or
something?

Several IOS versions have been run since June. Current one is 12.1(19)E,
which is listed as a fixed version for CSCea25622.
