One datapoint: We did AToM line rate with small packets on a GSR with 3
port GigE customer-facing, STM-16 DPT towards the rest of the network,
one GigE port in use. We had no problems with performance here.

(For those of you who might be curious: Yes, this was a DoS attack.)
