Hi,

another counter funny... what do you think of this:

FastEthernet2/0 is up, line protocol is up
Hardware is DEC21140, address is 0010.0d67.7038 (bia 0010.0d67.7038)
[..]
MTU 1500 bytes, BW 100000 Kbit, DLY 100 usec,
     reliability 255/255, txload 10/255, rxload 15/255
  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
  Keepalive set (10 sec)
  Full-duplex, 100Mb/s, 100BaseTX/FX
[..]
     3675647146 packets output, 241884934 bytes, 172 underruns
172 output errors, 172 collisions, 2 interface resets
     0 babbles, 0 late collision, 0 deferred

... "172 collisions" on an interface that is manually configured to
"full-duplex". Cool, eh?

12.2(18)S1, 7200/NPE-225, PA-FE-TX.

Correlation with other interfaces brings me to the conclusion that
it's actually the "172 underruns" that are somehow also counted as
"collision"... - all our 12.2S routers do that, while the 12.0(21)S7
7200s definitely do *not* do it.

(Of course there should not be any underruns, as this hints at "the
CPU is too busy to actually feed the TX interface properly", but *if*
the box has problems, it should better count them correctly, instead
of sending the admin chasing ghosts...)

*sigh*
