Dear all,

I am using a Cisco 6513 running native IOS using c6sup22-psv-mz.121-13.E11.bin. I have a flexwan module with 8port multichannel E1 PA, and 2port T3 PA.

Seems that the 8port E1 has some weird behaviour, and i do believe its the bug of the IOS. 1st, its a usual counter bug, which exit more than 2M outbound traffic.

  5 minute input rate 1147000 bits/sec, 493 packets/sec
  5 minute output rate 2224000 bits/sec, 658 packets/sec  <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

2ndly, ping test to own router interface, and the neighbor router interface both showing very bad packet drops. 6 out of the 8 interfaces are used, and all 6 are having the same issue.

Serial7/0/0:0 is up, line protocol is up
  Hardware is Multichannel E1
  Internet address is 192.168.10.5/30

Sending 1000, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.10.5, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.!!!!!!
<snip>
!!..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Success rate is 97 percent (977/1000), round-trip min/avg/max = 52/80/508 ms

Sending 500, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 192.168.10.6, timeout is 2 seconds:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.!!!.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
<snip>
!!!!!!!!!!
Success rate is 97 percent (488/500), round-trip min/avg/max = 24/42/240 ms

It seems to be a problem on the 8port E1, or the flexwan module. We have not tried re-inserting the card, as we do not want to affect those customers. Just wanna check if you guys encountered this before? Any suggestions on an IOS fix to these 2 problem?

Thanks.

Regards,
Cheeyong
