[c-nsp] 7206 npe-300 boot image

I have a 7206 npe-300.
IOS 12.2.24b
boot flash is 4MB

Im trying to update boot loader.(got the router used ...)

the 12.2 boot images are to big to fit.
All of the 12.1 boot images are deferred.
I down loaded the latest 12.0 boot image (12.0.28a ),now I get error msgs
at boot up. I think the errors are telling me that the boot image does not
understand some of the config statements that were made using IOS
12.2.24b. Do these errors really matter?
I haven't had to do this very often so I could be missing something.Any
suggestions?
