if you need cheap 100mbs thoughput on fast ethernets ports only how about a
cheap layer 3 switch?
you'll save a ton of cash.

Well, since I need to get 100 Mbps through, I cannot afford a VLAN trunk
that would, in the best of cases, divide the FE port in two 50 Mbps flows.
Or maybe Cisco makes a cheap 1-GigE router?...
