hi all,

one of our customers had just two of their boxes locked up

on some of the fasteths the interfaces were ignoring input packets, but
output traffic went like charm

'sh int told like'

Input queue: 0/75/2902/13 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output
drops: 258
  Queueing strategy: fifo
  Output queue :0/40 (size/max)
  30 second input rate 0 bits/sec, 0 packets/sec
  30 second output rate 1000 bits/sec, 1 packets/sec

while the switch where the box is connected was showing about 6 megs
offered to the box.

this, however, does not seem to be related to the advisory that was
released about half an year ago as input queue would have to show 76/75

rebooting the box solved the problem of course

any hints please?

thanks
