[nsp] Connecting Long Haul to Intermediate Reach

Hello All,

I have been asked if it possible to connect, a cisco 7300-2OC3POS-SMI to a 7300-2OC3POS-SML, and body ever tried this, will it work. 

I've looked a this document which suggest they will but, the specs in table 3 , make me a little uncertain.
