Correcting my earlier post:  It could also be a return where the
stack was trashed.

I've been browsing through Bug Tool, and stumbled across
something interesting:  Oddly enough, CSCdk64476 describes
identical symptoms for RSP with various 11.3 trains (mainline, T,
and several oddballs).  The bug details indicate 56-bit
encryption was part of the scenario.

Not sure if the above helps you or the Cisco folk any, but I
thought I'd throw that in to the mix.
