I do fully agree with Steinar here, but I want you to remember that
6500/7600 are essensially Ethernet-switches, i.e. everything are Vlans.
If that's OK for you, a 6500 (I'd call it a 6500 as long as it's not got
any OSM's) is a workhorse.
