I bet it depends on IOS version and features. I know of a customer
multihomed to us using a 3640 with 12.0T IP IOS and 2 sets of full routes.
148531 network entries and 296049 paths using 22692827 bytes of memory
55548 BGP path attribute entries using 7235600 bytes of memory

memory is getting quite tight.

               Head Total(b) Used(b) Free(b) Lowest(b) Largest(b)
Processor 60B11400 118418432 116611716 1806716 1547388 462604
      I/O 7C00000 4194304 1786360 2407944 2217100 2407900

I should probably warn them that it's time to start thinking about
either not being able to continue to take 2 sets of full routes or
upgrading to a larger DRAM capacity router.

I'd bet that with 12.2 or 12.3 code, this router would not be able to take
2 full views.
