Bill,
When i wrote "reliable" i was NOT referring to the NTP Server itself as a reliable source
for other clients or peers.I was referring to how reliable are Cisco boxes as NTP server
for an large enterprise (though it will work is it a good design).
Yes, i do agree with u when there are multiple sources for a client it will check for
reliabilty and also the stratum level and synch with lowest level.

The ntp clients then will analyze the status of each server, and
synchronize to the most accurate reliable server. So if the Cisco is not
available, or is unreliable, it will not be used unless all more reliable
