Nope...

I've tried multiple images.

Tried tftping them, and ftp.

Did you download the image from rommon? 
I've had this problem before with 36xx with an image that fits on one
stick everything was ok.
twords 2 I needed to disable checksum try TFTP_CHECKSUM=0

When testing I completely pull the slot0: 

I just booted into ios via slot0: so I could check out the flash and see
if recognized, and verified.

It does....but will not boot if the image is larger than 1 flash stick
on its own.

Try specifying flash:c3660-i-mz.123-10.bin as the boot image rather than

slot0:.  Does that help?
