Recently (that is: with more recent 12.0S versions) OIR seems to be
more dangerous for us - about 2/3 of all OIRs lead to VIP crashes, and
occasional to complete bus hangs and reboots.

I'm not sure whether it's our 7500 that's getting rusty, or whether it's
some sort of changed bus timing in recent 12.0S versions - but I'd
certainly not recommend it outside of a maintenance window.

(Never any problem with 7200s, though...)
