>From what I could find on CCO, the 7010 is a "classic" 7000, that is,
it needs a RP+SP combo to work (slowwww, no IOS beyond 11.1 IIRC) or 
an RSP7000 (rare, expensive).

The 7505 is a "real" 7500, with faster buses (CyBus instead of CxBus), 
and uses "modern day" RSPs.

The chassis looks *very* similar, indeed - there's even a common document
describing chassis replacements for 7010 and 7505.
