I think one should always consider the Sup720 alternative also.

Of cause the Sup720 is more expensive, but it's also a lot faster
and it supports the newer, faster, higher-density, lower port-
price modules like the 6748-SFP, which the Sup32 doesn't. (6748 =
25 k$, 6516A = 15 k$).

And yes, SXF is very new software.
