Should be.

The RSP in a dCEF environment has (somewhat) very little to do with
forwarding performance.

In a properly functioning dCEF environment, where the VIP's are handling
packet pushing, all the RSP is doing is everything except packet pushing
-- routing protocols, SNMP, CLI, environment, etc. In this 'properly
functioning' dCEF environment, the VIP's will more or less govern the
performance of the box.

Because of this, and the fact that a GEIP is quite different than a GEIP+
(VIP2-50 vs. VIP4-80, single PCI connection PA<>VIP vs. dual), the
performance is substantially better.

I recall at one point running at least 400 mbits/sec through a GEIP+. It's
something I won't ever repeat, however.
