[c-nsp] SPAN & Cat 6509

In a Cat 6509 SupII running CatOS, I can SPAN from one port to another 
and the 2nd port can still transmit packets if I use the "inpkts" 
keyword.  On a Sup 720 in the same chassis, I can't transmit from the 
destination port.  Does anybody know if this is a limitation of the 
Sup720, or maybe the type of card (WS-X6748) or maybe it's an IOS issue 
or ??
