[c-nsp] vrf config on a sup720-3bxl

hi.

i have a question about where it's possible to apply 'ip vrf forwarding'
on a 7600 with sup720-3bxl. i know you can use subinterfaces on ws-x
linecards, but is it also possible on svi's (interface vlan x)?

the only information related to this found in the 12.2sx config guides
is a note:

If you use "interface vlan X" as the MPLS uplink through a Layer 2 port
peering with another MPLS device, then you can use another "interface
vlan Y" as the VRF interface.

this make me suspect it's possible, but i'm not sure about the logic
here: to use a vrf on a svi, *must* the mpls uplink also be on a svi?

tia,
per
