[c-nsp] Virtual-interface numbering on CPE

I have an SNMP-related query within a dialer or virtual-template based
enviroment with multilink PPP applied. Problem relates to a QoS
service-policy being configured on the dialer (or vt), then automagically
being propogated to the vi, and the MLP vi (if MLP is applied).
"show policy-map int xyz" gives you dialer, vt, vi and MLP vi stats. However
counters only increment on the MLP one, and no SNMP MIBs appear to
distinguish this from the other vi's or the dialer.
Aside from telnet scripts to identify the MLP vi, anyone got any SNMP
suggested fixes for picking up the incrementing interface? This questions
comes from an SLA monitoring script angle.
Thanks,
Iwan
