yes, ordinary lan port on a 6248 card.. documentation and ios seems to think 
policy routinng is allowed but enabling it gives me counters that look right but 
any shape command i enter shows zero bitrate and drop rate

this is old hardware true, but given the devices were marketed as being qos 
capable this would seem to be a prerequisite to many qos scenarios?
