I will try changing the switch type to NI-2 on both sides. Below is the
caller ID info in a facility message which is being sent by our PSTN switch.

Jul 14 2005 14:31:04.835 EST: ISDN Se5/0:23 Q931: RX <- FACILITY pd = 8
callref = 0x0004
        Facility i = 0x91A10F0201010201008007756E6B6E6F776E
Jul 14 2005 14:31:04.839 EST: ISDN Se5/0:23 **ERROR**: Ux_BadMsg: Invalid
Message for call state 10, call id 0x51, call ref 0x8004, event 0x62

I am trying to get calling name to show up on a call originating from the
PSTN and terminating on a voip phone.

Thanks
Kevin

It should just work. But you will probably have to option the switch
and the AS5400 to NI-2. NI-2 is (or should be) available on a 5ESS
switch. Does "debug isdn q931" show that the switch is sending CNAM
to you?

Also, what is the problem that you're trying to solve? Displaying
inbound CNAM from PSTN callers on IP phones, or sending CNAM to the
PSTN and having it displayed on the remote phone?
